Why not try one of our favourite dog walks from Loddon Brewery...

Many of us enjoy a coffee, snack or a pint when out walking our furry friends.  We are incredibly blessed that here in Berkshire there are so many beautiful walks which are enjoyed equally by humans as well as canines.  We have a list of great pub walks that are well known but also we feel passionate about some of the lesser known walks that are ‘off the beaten track’ so to speak to give you a quieter dog walk which includes a lovely pub, cafe or local brewery to stop at en-route.

We would love to share with you the Loddon Brewery and Chilterns Boundary walk which is one of our favourite routes and great route for you and your dog on the border of Berkshire and Oxfordshire.   This route the Loddon Brewery and Chilterns Boundary Walk has a lot to offer and is a circular walk, Loddon Brewery is a family run brewery based in a 300-year old barn, where you can sample a delicious pint and both walkers and canine companions will receive a warm welcome.  The picturesque village of Dunsden Green is located about 3 miles north-east of Reading, in south Oxfordshire. The highlights of this particular walk include soaring red kites, tree lined tracks, rolling green fields, a pretty church and great views across the Thames Valley.  The walk starts and finishes at the Lodden Brewery at Dunsden Green Farm on Church Lane.  Please note the brewery site is closed on a Sunday, there is plenty of parking on site as well as on the roads nearby.  Please share your photos of you and your dogs if you choose to do this walk and please tag us on socials using the hashtag #ragsandberts Enjoy!
